Love, Death & Karaoke
This is the debut offering from Club Business, unnecessary sobriquet for Tim Mitchell, as if anyone is looking for him. Nonetheless, this very solo mission was planned, executed, and now this. The result, you will obviously judge for yourself. I did my best to make what was in my head, which sounded amazing, but we know that never works out. I can guarantee, however, that it came from the heart.

About
There comes a time when your basement studio feels like home and you trade dilusions of grandeur for different dilusions. I could say something pithy like "this music is very personal", but that's pretentious, but it is. This is all me, from soup to nuts, no one to blame, and no one to complain. It was just me without a net, larping bargain basement Prince or something. To french speakers - yes, it's mispelled on purpose - its a play on words, and I have now ruined it by explaining it.
After a musical life spent in indie rock (Pinq, The Decoration), and yes - METAL (Hot Fog) - I wanted to do something all on my own and also out of my wheelhouse. I convinced myself that being a one-man-band was possible after somehow deciding the world needed me on YouTube. So I wrote, played, recorded, mixed, took those amazing photos, picked out some fabulous sleepwear, and picked just the right shades of violet and maroon for this lucious website. That's not entirely true - thanks to Carrie and Thomas Jennings for background vocals and guitar, respectively, on L'appelle Du Vide. It took me 2 years to finish 3 songs. I'm going to keep going though... not be so precious. You can't stop me.
